North Coast Artists Guild

Raised in Peru and Paris, I have been interested in art from an early age. Before becoming a painter, I worked on a merchant ship, joined the French navy and had a career as a stockbroker. I have a deep interest in African and Asian art that was spurred by a desire to explore symbolism and hidden meaning. More recently, I've traveled to Martinique and Tahiti, where I can live a simpler life and paint full-time. I also write essays for publications in support of the indigenous cultures that have welcomed me.
